We ordered 2 of each type of bao and the textures were all good and the fillings very flavorful. We also got some steamed dumplings. Everything was solid.

Good news for foodies. The area now has a place to get decent dim sum dishes. Only three: The meat filled buns called bao, steamed dumplings and potstickers. Wow Bao opened in what used to be the area's only Sizzler, but I think it might be delivery only. I ordered through DoorDash. I'm not saying the dishes are as good as Bay Area dim sum, but they are the best I know of in the Truckee Meadows. Other restaurants offer dim sum but they all taste like they were frozen and heated. Wow Bao tastes freshly made. I give it 4 to 4.5 stars I haven't actually tried the potstickers. The bao and dumplings were good. I liked the BBQ pork bao more than the beef. The ginger chicken dumplings had nice flavor as well. You can get a rice bowl and some dim sum. The kung pao chicken rice bowl tasted freshly made as well, not like it had been sitting in a pot for half a day. It doesn't have an extensive menu, but I look forward to checking it out. Five dumplings was $6. The kung pap chicken bowl and two bao was $16.
